Perfect place with perfect view! We have seen a lot of places in Madeira, Seixal is very good as starting point, close to the beach. Everything was good, when returning back to Madeira definitely also to this house!

My husband and I spent 6 days of out honeymoon at this villa. The place is stunning with a lot of character and the view is amazing. We enjoyed our patio and bbq. At check in we also received lovely honeymoon treats: fruits and wine which was a great touch. The villa is only 5 mins walk from the natural dark sand beach in Seixal. We loved our time at the villa and hope to be back again. Thank you, Diana & Mark

L'appartement est très bien placé, dans le quartier populaire de Funchal, près du marché des Lavradores et à proximité du téléphérique de la ville qui conduit aux superbes jardins botaniques de Monte. Les équipements sont nombreux (un vrai appartement qui n'est plus habité par ses propriétaires, et non une location). La superficie de l'appartement est incroyable! La terrasse est un pur bonheur (accessible depuis la suite parentale), avec une belle vue sur Funchal et la mer. La résidence est très calme et bien fleurie. Nous n'avons été dérangés par aucun bruit, malgré la proximité des rues touristiques en contrebas. Le parking est un vrai plus, car se garer dans le quartier relève de l'exploit (l'entrée est un peu spéciale et la propriétaire, Sabrina, nous y a conduit). Le ménage était fait parfaitement, et la décoration originale de l'appartement en fait un véritable nid. La machine à laver et les quelques condiments de base ont eux aussi été appréciés. Nous y reviendrons sans hésiter!

A marvelous place. Beautiful interiors, unbelievable views of the water, ships, tram. Great location. We had a car which we totally didn’t need. One block from the best selection of Madeira food and right near the town market.

Leuk, stijlvol en charmant appartement in het oude gedeelte van Funchal. Prima als uitvalbasis om de stad te verkennen. Kinderen vonden de inrichting héél leuk.

Super Lage, 7 min bis ans Meer. Viel Platz im Haus. Garage für Mietauto. Gute Verkehrsanbindung auf Schnellstrasse.

Ich war bereits zum zweiten Mal in der Casa Strelitzia. Die Lage ist super. Nah am Hafen und der Altstadt, trotzdem ruhig. Die Wohnung ist schick und komfortabel ausgestattet, von der Fläche her mehr als großzügig. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Die Schlüsselübergabe war völlig problemlos.

L’appartamento si trova in una zona tranquilla a ridosso dell’oceano. Arredato con gusto con dettagli ricercati, munito di ogni confort oltre quello che si possa immaginare. Si è accompagnati piacevolmente dal suono delle onde. Gerald è un host gentile discreto e premuroso.

Die Wohnung war im Erdgeschoss. Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Die Möbel im antiken Stil. Das Bad und die Dusche so wie man es sich wünscht.

Maison correctement équipée et propre rien que pour nous. Agréable jardin et surtout la piscine privée !! Le tout situé un peu à l'écart, au calme le soir et la nuit. A une demi heure de route de l'aéroport, accès facile en voiture vers différents points touristiques de l'ile. Piscine naturelle et plage à proximité.

Todo era exactamente como en las fotos. Espectacular. El contacto con los dueños era rapídisimo por whatsapp y nos facilitaron mucho todo. La piscina siempre limpia, funcionaba a la perfección. Nos dieron una cesta de frutas y verduras de bienvenida. Hay de todo: toallas, sábanas, mantas, vajilla... todo lo necesario para sólo preocuparnos de la comida. Hay una playa a 2 minutos. La que sale en las fotos.

We had a fantastic time staying at Villa Matta! For a group of 6 (3 couples), the house provided lots of space for everyone and felt very private. The two top upstairs bedrooms and the pool area have gorgeous sea views that look over the church and town, which we were not expecting from the photos. We especially liked the ‘summer kitchen’ which was detached from the main house but was very large and had enough cooking utensils and crockery for our big group. We did however struggle to find firewood for the barbecue anywhere in the area and therefore would suggest bringing some firewood with you if you were coming from Funchal.
